Back to Dallas
Karl Lagerfeld has been presenting Chanel's Métiers d'Art collection every December since 2002. For this season, he went to Dallas, Texas – the fashion house’s first show in North America. He rocked Texas when he brought the sensational Chanel Métiers d’Art fashion show to Dallas’s Fair Park. Actually in Texas, they don't do anything small, Neither does Chanel.
More than 90 looks walked around, during the show. There was much sophisticated textile and texture play. There were Knitwear Pieces in Stripes, Classic Jean Jackets, and Wool Cowgirl Skirts, which were as elaborately woven and fringed as 1960's textile wall-art tapestries. Also some Ponchos, Fringed Skirts, White Prairie Tops, Black Sheriff Ties, and Civil War Inspired Hats. And Erin Wasson, a Native Texan, carried bottles of Chanel No. 5 in her holsters.
Bang, Bang !! Karl did it once again..
